Private training walks focus on the behaviour change process you have already started or you would like to maintain. This is a perfect way for your dog to have some training integrated into their day while you are at work or would like a break. Consistency is integral to successful behaviour change and Bravo Dog would like to support continued success and ensure your dog is also gaining access to the exercise and mental stimulation they need.
- Ensure the training you have been working from is being practiced
- Prevent and manage reactivity on walks
- Gives your dog a break during the day (and you)
How They Work
Training Walks are available for past and current clients that have taken classes or private training. Unfortunately at this time we are not offering walks to brand new customers.
Julia Lomb, DVM (Germany) will be conducting all Training Walks. You can read more about her here. Currently she is a phD candidate in the UBC Animal Welfare program, is a veterinary from Germany and has taken Susan Friedman’s course focusing on animal behavior. She is working closely with Renée at Bravo Dog to follow the protocols we have in place for behaviour modification and is committed to force-free applications.
We will be servicing the North Shore (North and West Vancouver) and some areas of Vancouver. Please get in touch if you aren’t sure if we can provide service to you before purchasing and scheduling sessions.
Training walks may be purchased and scheduled in sets of 3 or 5.
A 30 minute meet and greet is included and must be set up by emailing Julia after you’ve signed up for your package and scheduled walks.
